Inter-Ridge Recreation is now accepting applications for Summer Theme Day Leaders.

Job responsibilities include supervising children at Kid’s Day Camp and creating fun,

educational and innovative day plans for Kid’s Day Camp for ages 5-11.

Must hold a valid driver’s license and be returning to school in the fall.

Application deadline is May 16, 2008.  Apply by mail to:

The tennis clinic will be held on Saturday June 7.  There will be two groups.  The first group will be Grade 8 and under.  The lesson will run from 9:00 - 10:30.  The cost will be $10.  The second group will be Grade 9 and over, including adults.  The lesson for this grou will run from 10:30 - 12:00.  Cost is also $10.  There is a limit on the number of participants, so call and sign-up today!  Registration deadline is May 28.
 
The golf clinic is going to be held on two seperate dates.  Friday June 6 will be a beginners night.  Juniors will have a lesson from 5:30 - 6:30.  The cost will be $5.  Adults will have their lesson from 6:30 - 7:30.  The cost will be $10. 
Friday June 20 will be an evening for seasoned golfers.  Again, the juniors will golf from 5:30 - 6:30.  The cost is $5.  Adults will golf from 6:30-7:30.  The cost will be $10.
Numbers are limited, so register today.  Please register by contacting either Laura at Inter-Ridge 685-2202, or Melody at the Credit Union 685-5620.  The first 12 golfers registered and paid will be accepted.  You may register for both evenings.
 

Rec. Soccer - In MacGregor and Austin. The ages groups are 4-6, 7-9 and 9-12.  This is recreational soccer and there is no traveling and no games.  The soccer starts on Wednesday May 21 and goes to June 18.  There is a $5 fee, and pre-registration is required.  Please contact Inter-Ridge by May 14.

 
 Tennis Clinic - while there is no date yet set, there will be an instructor from the Manitoba Tennis Association coming to MacGregor.  This will be a one day clinic, probably held on a Saturday.  Please contact Inter-Ridge in the coming weeks to get more information.

 

  Golf Clinic - in partnership with the MacGregor Golf Club, there will be a golf clinic.  Once again, there is no date set as of yet.  Please watch for more details coming.
